Retirement is wonderful!

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Architecture, I moved to Springfield, Illinois where my business partner Richard Morse and I founded an architectural office and stained glass studio. We built the business into a professional collaboration of architects, scientists, artists, craftsmen, and social entrepreneurs serving the region for more than 50 years with new construction, historic preservation, environmental hazard remediation, major stained glass art collections, and legislative development that became foundational to present-day regulations.

I retired from Melotte Morse Leonatti Parker in 2019 and moved home to Wisconsin to enjoy the cool breezes off Lake Michigan and pursue my long-long love of writing.

An avid historical fiction and mystery reader, I’ve always dreamed of publishing the many story ideas I’ve imagined through the years. Cat’s Café, the first book in the Eagle Rock Trilogy, is my first novel. It closely follows the course of the actual events that led to the creation of Idaho Falls.
